Every time I think about Luke and Lorelai, I find myself back at this moment. Up until now, we’ve never really seen a side of Luke that’s so personal. But now we’re at “his Luke’s” listening to him as he makes it crystal clear once and for all that while he’s been refilling coffee cups for the past 8 years, he’s also been (not so secretly) pining for his own Daisy Buchanan. Everyone in Stars Hollow has seen this for years, but I think this is the first time Lorelai really sees it too.
